Industry-leading customizing and systems integration company delivers second of three Bell helicopters to air transport operation based in Bogota, Colombia
Fort Worth—October 17, 2007, Texas Aviation Services, an industry leader in helicopter and aircraft completions, MRO and maintenance services for over 36 years, has delivered the second in a series of three Bell 412EP helicopters to Helicol (the first was delivered in August and the third is scheduled for a December delivery). Helicol uses the helicopters to transport British Petroleum personnel to remote and otherwise inaccessible locations throughout Colombia.
Major technical features on this second Bell completion included Wirestrike Protection, Flight Director, Cargo Hook Complete, Bambi Bucket Provisions, HUMS (Health and Usage Monitoring Systems), Radar Altimeter, and Bendix King Radar RDR 2000. TAS also provided custom paint inside and out, a custom corporate leather interior and Aft Audio.
