TEXAS AVIATION SERVICES DELIVERS ITS FIRST COMPLETION TO HELICOL

Industry-leading customizing and systems integration company inaugurates its partnership with air transport operation based in Bogota, Colombia

Fort Worth—September 5, 2007  - Texas Aviation Services, an industry leader in helicopter and aircraft completions, MRO and maintenance services for over 36 years, has delivered the first in a series of three Bell 412EP helicopters to Helicol (the second completion will occur in approximately 30 days, with the third scheduled for a December delivery).  Helicol will use the helicopters to transport British Petroleum personnel to remote and otherwise inaccessible locations throughout Colombia.  The completely customized interiors feature radar, flight director, an avionics suite, MFD with WX module and forward-facing airline seating.  TAS is also providing custom exterior paint.

“Our pilots deliver clients and cargo to the mountains and jungles of Colombia, as well as off-shore locations,” said Mauricio Villegas Aristizabal, Helicol’s Managing Director.  “We met with a number of customization centers and I think we selected the best.”
