Fort Worth—February 11, 2008 Texas Aviation Services, an industry leader in helicopter and aircraft completions, MRO and maintenance services for over 37 years, has appointed Mr. Tom Lark as Vice President-Operations. Each of the operational divisions and departments of TAS will report to Lark, while the marketing, finance, and administrative functions continue to report to Tim Woodard, the company’s President. Lark will report directly to Mr. Woodard.
Tom Lark has a strong background in helicopters, management, and business. He is a West Point graduate with a double major in Engineering and Spanish. He holds an MBA graduate degree from Duke University. Lark has significant experiences as both a helicopter pilot and rotorcraft MRO leader. In addition to flying a number of various helicopter types, up to and including Chinooks, Lark was one of the managers for 450 rotorcraft technicians in a major overhaul setting, accomplishing several hundred thousand man-hours per year of heavy depot level tasks on large numbers of helicopters.
